Strasbourg, France

June 11th, 2010

Many of you know that my wife Anne teaches French and every couple years she ventures with students across the Atlantic. This time I came along and our journey began on Wednesday with short time in Paris and then we headed east towards the Alsace-Lorraine region of France.

I brought along the Canon 45 TS-E (tilt-shift) lens for some experimenting. The studio has a 24mm t/s, but this longer focal length is a bit different and I’m loving the results. This just might have to go on my list to purchase. Check out the gallery for a few more images from atop Notre Dame de Strasbourg.

First year went fast

June 3rd, 2010

Today is Avery’s first birthday and it really did go by fast. Today’s shoot put me just over 10K images of him. Better slow down or I’ll have a 200K by the time he graduates!
